국가영어능력 평가시험(NEAT:National English Ability Test)는 Toeic이나 Toefl등의 해외 시험에 대한 의존도를 낮추고
학생들의 영어 의사소통 능력의 향상을 위해 정부 차원에서 개발 및 도입하기로 한 영어 시험입니다.

 NEAT 대비과정
영어교육 방식에 변화가 시작됐습니다. 듣기, 읽기, 문법 등의 영어가 아닌 실용회화 중심의 영어교육이 강조되면서부터 입니다. 정부에서는 수학능력시험 외국어영역을 국가영어능력평가(NEAT/니트)로 대체한다고 밝혔고, 기업에선 토익이나 토플 대신 토익스피킹과 오픽등 말하기 능력을 요구하는 곳이 늘고 있습니다.
실용영어가 주목받으면서 최근 들어 원어민 영어회화 중심의 화상영어 교육 수요가 급증하는 추세입니다.
